Dangerous side effects of being an author.

One of the funniest (and most embarrassing) realizations I had was discovering a few fetishes I never knew I had. So, there I was, diving into an intimate scene for my latest project. The first two scenes were pretty standard, nothing out of the ordinary. But as I delved into the third scene, it seemed oddly familiar.

Upon re-reading the scene, a sense of déjà vu washed over me and that's when it hit me—I'd written something similar before. Not exactly the same, but close enough. So, I did what any curious writer would do: I went back and counted. And that's when I had to face the music—I was officially weird, I mean, more then I think I am.

Now, here comes the funny part. At first, I denied it, saying, ‘No, it can't be, it's just coincidence,’. But after a few days of wrestling with my thoughts, I had to admit it to myself: "You nasty, little fetishist, you do like it." So, what’s the thing? If you read my books closely, you'll notice a peculiar trend among my female characters—they love going barefoot. Everywhere. Forests, beaches, meadows, towns, inside, outside—you name it.

And guess how many of my intimate scenes start? With feet, fucking feet. Yep, you read that right. I tried to change the scene, throw the feet out, I said to myself, ‘’No, feet are not nice, feet bad, don’t touch them, don’t think about them.’’ Ha-ha, I was so naïve, a little lost boy tricked into a stranger's van. My subconscious wasn't having it. It said, "Fuck you will, put that nice meaty feet back in, you asshole, you know you like it, you want it." Yeah, feet are back in the scene. See? See where that goes—I'm a foot fetishist. Who knew? Forty years on this planet, and it took writing to reveal that I am even far more fucked up than I thought.

Okay joke aside, seriously, I don’t actually lick feet or suck toes—that's weird. But yeah, that realization did make me rethink my perception of ideal women's beauty and what's considered sexy and attractive. Yes, I realized that I really do like when woman have nice small feet, it is so damn sexy, not in weird way though, that I had to lick them or suck the toes, no. It’s just attractive, very nice tiny detail that makes whole picture even prettier. So, yeah, It's funny how writing can reveal things about ourselves we never even knew were there.
