Greetings, dear readers! I want to express my gratitude for your continued presence here with me. It brings me immense joy to know that not only is someone delving into the musings I share, but that my books are also finding readership.
The latest addition to my literary journey, 'Unseen Shadows: The Ghost,' has recently been published. After weeks filled with the rigors of writing and preparing the book for publication, I am excited to delve into the narrative and share some insights. As previously mentioned, I embarked on a creative venture into a new genre, and the experience was incredibly enjoyable.
Let's shift our focus to the captivating world in which the story unfolds—starting with the bustling city of Los Angeles. While I refrained from delving into intricate details about LA, a touch of realism was injected through thorough research, particularly evident in the travel scenes. The mentioned roads and highways are real, and even the travel times are grounded in reality. I acknowledge it might seem unnecessary, but I find satisfaction in infusing elements of realism into my stories. However, it's essential to note that the specific locations around LA are entirely products of my imagination; the estate, Jackson Enterprises offices, and everything else exist only within the realms of fiction.
The primary setting for the story, Deer Lodge in Montana, is a genuine place that demanded considerable effort to locate. Spending nearly seven hours in pursuit of the perfect spot, I meticulously scoured Montana for a location where I could seamlessly place the Ranch and hunting cabin. An interesting challenge arose as I had already penned detailed descriptions of these locations before commencing my real-world search. The greatest hurdle was finding a stream flowing through the woods, cascading down the mountain, and leading to the Ranch house. To add to the complexity, there had to be a lake behind the house. After extensive exploration on Google Maps, I stumbled upon Willow Creek, which meanders down the mountain and leads to Hagans Pond.
This meticulous search led me to Deer Lodge, where even the street names in the narrative align with the real world. Remarkably, the place where the characters purchased their clothes is an actual spot in Deer Lodge, Montana. It might sound unconventional, perhaps even a bit crazy, but that's just the way I am—driven by a passion for authenticity and a touch of the extraordinary. If you ever find yourself in Deer Lodge, Montana, and decide to traverse the streets, you might just stumble upon the very places my characters frequented. It's a testament to the lengths I go, perhaps a bit crazily, to breathe life into the worlds I create.
Upon closer inspection of the map, you'll quickly realize that there is no actual ranch at Hagans Pond, nor a cabin perched on the mountain beside Willow Creek. The ranch and cabin themselves are products of imagination, seamlessly woven into a real-world location that aligns with the vivid descriptions in my book. While the physical structures may be figments of creativity, their placement in a genuine setting lends an authentic touch to the narrative.
In crafting the narrative, I envisioned the ranch as a longstanding establishment, passed down through generations of a diligent and hardworking rancher family. The decision to set the story in such a locale stems from my personal affinity for the rustic life—a life where one coexists and collaborates with nature. There's a certain beauty in this way of life, a harmonious blending of living and working in tandem with the natural world.
Ranchers and their families, from my perspective, embody a captivating and resilient spirit. Their commitment is unwavering as they confront a plethora of challenges each day, yet they persist, moving forward with determination. Operating tirelessly, the concept of a vacation is virtually nonexistent in their vocabulary. These are individuals you won't find complaining; instead, they press on, going that extra mile whenever necessary.
This dedicated group not only secures their own sustenance but also fulfills pivotal roles in supporting communities and, on a grander scale, entire nations. Their tireless work contributes significantly to the fabric of society. It's a lifestyle that demands both admiration and respect.
I won't delve further into the myriad aspects of the book, leaving it to you, dear readers, to explore and, hopefully, find enjoyment. However, I feel compelled to offer a brief statement regarding the recurring themes in my writing. In each of my books, you can expect to encounter romantic elements, as two individuals inevitably find themselves entwined in the enchanting dance of love. This romantic essence is an integral part of my storytelling, and it's a facet of my work that will remain steadfast and ever-present.
And with that, I would like to bring this post to a close. Thank you for accompanying me this far; I sincerely hope it wasn't too dull.
